Cat Eye Surgery, also known as a Fox Eye Lift or Fox effect, is a cosmetic surgical procedure that creates a subtle, slightly raised wing in the outer corners of the eyelids. The technical name is canthoplasty, which in simple terms is a procedure in which the so-called "lateral canthus" (the outer angle where the eyelids meet) is altered to create a longer and naturally almond-shaped eye.
During the procedure, the lateral corner of the eye is lifted, tightened and repositioned to create a more youthful and exotic appearance. It can also be performed in addition to blepharoplasty, which removes excess skin or fat from the lower and upper eyelids through the same incisions.
